Zelensky allowed people without higher education to become officers

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law according to which even those citizens who do not have a higher education will be able to receive an officer rank in the country.

The document has already been published on the portal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

It is clarified that during martial law, non-commissioned officers and senior officers without higher education can be appointed to junior officer positions with the assignment of an officer rank. The main condition for such an “increase” should be the presence of experience in combat operations for at least six months.
