The volume of Bitcoin trading in the first half of the year amounted to $ 4.27 trillion, reports bitcoin casinos with reference to CoinMarketCap data. This is well below the $5.12 trillion recorded in the same period in 2022.

After a difficult year for the entire cryptocurrency market in 2022, investor interest in trading digital money began to recover in early 2023. However, after reaching a peak in March (nearly $1.2 trillion), the volume of trade in the most popular cryptocurrency, bitcoin, has noticeably decreased. The average monthly trading volume in the second quarter was $481.8 billion. For comparison: last year, the monthly trading volume for the same period never fell below $830 billion, and in May 2022 it reached $1.09 trillion.

In general, the activity of investors correlates with the rise in the price of bitcoin. Thus, the March peak coincides with the growth of the cryptocurrency rate by 21%, and the trading volume this month increased by 43.5% compared to last year.

The US authorities have begun a fundamental revision of the regulation of crypto platforms, read about it in the publication “Kommersant” “Crypto exchanges hit the grope”.
