Russian hockey is starting to come out from the summer holidays. If the KHL clubs are still resting, and the information space is filled only with transfer rumors and official confirmations of transfers, then many MHL teams have begun preparations for the start of the 2023-2024 season.

On July 3, the current owners of the Kharlamov Cup, the hockey players of the Nizhny Novgorod “Seagull”, came out of vacation. At the starting stage of the training process, players take tests for physical strength and endurance. Throughout the off-season “Chaika” will train in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

There are also scheduled friendly matches, the first of them will be held on July 19 and 22, the Chaika players will play against the debutant of the VHL – HC Norilsk. In August “The Seagull” will take part in two pre-season tournaments. From July 31 to August 4, “The Seagull” will be visiting Kazan, where they will compete for victory in the “TNA” Cup. Summer training camp “Chaika” traditionally will complete the participation in the Cup of the Governor of the Tula region, it will be held from 21 to 27 August.
