Pushilin: the whole of Kleshcheevka is under the control of Russia

The village of Klescheevka in the DPR is completely under Russian control. This was announced by the acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin on the air of Soloviev Live.

“Indeed, it was one of the next actions of the enemy, they came close enough, but the guys, the servicemen of the RF Armed Forces, did everything competently. And yesterday I called up the command – everything is under control. The whole Kleshcheevka is under our control,” he stressed (quote according to TASS).

Pushilin noted that the situation in the Kleshcheevka area is “always tense.”

On July 5, RIA Novosti, citing a source in the command of the Southern Group of Forces, wrote that the Russian military had crossed another enemy counterattack attempt near Kleshcheevka. On the same day, Advisor to the Acting Head of the DPR, Yan Gagin refuted information about the transition of the village under the control of Ukraine. According to him, Kyiv spreads fakes in the media because it cannot achieve “success at the front.”

Earlier today, on July 6, Vadim Astafyev, head of the press center of the Southern Group of the RF Armed Forces informedthat Russian aviation carried out missile and bomb strikes on manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​the village. According to the report of the military department, published on July 5, over the past day, the Russian Armed Forces repelled attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk, Krasnolimansk, Yuzhno-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions.

The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. During the hostilities, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. The Ministry of Defense announced the capture of Kleshcheevka on January 20, 2023.
