The Progress MS-22 cargo ship undocked from the Zvezda module of the International Space Station. He must make room for another cargo ship, informed Roskosmos.

“Progress MS-22” was on the ISS for more than six months. The undocking took place at 2:50 Moscow time. Turning on the engine for braking is scheduled for 5:58. After that, the ship will enter the atmosphere and collapse. The unburned structural elements of the ship are expected to fall in the non-navigable area of ​​the South Pacific.

The cargo ship was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on February 9. He delivered more than 2.5 tons of cargo. The spacecraft’s engines performed 10 ISS orbit corrections. The place of Progress MS-22 will be taken by Progress MS-24, which is scheduled to launch from Baikonur on August 23.
