From July 8, I am introducing a state of emergency on the territory of the entire Autonomous Okrug (Decree No. 96 of July 8, 2023),” Ms. Komarova wrote in Telegram.

573 people are extinguishing the fires, 100 additional people from the forest fire units of Karelia (30 people), Arkhangelsk (50 people) and Murmansk (20 people) regions are involved. “We are expecting 20 people from the Vologda Oblast,” the governor wrote.
