‘Desperate Housewives’ and ‘Back to School’ star Paxton Whitehead dies


Paxton Whitehead, a well-known theater and film actor, died on June 16 at the age of 85 at a hospital in Arlington in the United States, according to Deadline.

A wide audience knows the actor from the series Friends, Desperate Housewives, The A-Team, as well as the films Back to School, Kate and Leo.

Paxton Whitehead was born in the UK and was an English actor, but then moved to Broadway. He was nominated for a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award for his performance as Pellinore in the 1980 revival of Camelot.

In addition to roles in famous films, the actor actively participated in television shows. In recent years, Whitehead has continued to work in regional theater and on Broadway.
