A native of Polyarnye Zor won gold and silver at the Russian Swimming Cup


Together with the northerner, about 300 athletes came to show their skills.

Olympic medalists, national champions and masters of sports met at the starting bollard in the swimming pool in Irkutsk, the government reports.

Among them at the third stage of the Russian Swimming Cup was the athlete of the Integrated Sports School of the Olympic Reserve of Murmansk Pavel Samusenko.

Within two days, the athletes competed for 32 sets of awards. Pavel showed the best result in the 100m backstroke and won the silver medal in the 50m backstroke.

Prior to this, a native of Polyarnye Zor took three awards at the second stage of the Russian Cup in Obninsk.
